    Hi all,

This may sound like a silly question but thought I'd put it out there. What exactly is the PM responsible for in terms of cleaning up around a property they've rented out? For example, a friend of mine has an IP rented out (3BR House) to a small family, the landlord obviously must do repairs and what not, but what about general clean up of branches and leaves around the house? The area is quite bushy and leaves tend to get stuck in the gutters, is the landlord responsible to clean those out too?

    Cheers

I believe the landlord is responsible for cleaning out the gutters (but we've rarely done so).

If it's a bushy area i want to make sure gutters were done properly, yearly check before storm season would be worth it. But depends on the area and house history i guess. Blocked gutters can potentially do some damage

Yard stuff is the tenants responsibility.you tent in the bush expect leaves. The pm should be onto that
