    Sholay

    One of the comments:
If you liked "Once upon a time in the west", "The magnificent seven" and "A fistful of dollars", you will love "Sholay".

It takes all the good ingredients of a western, spices it with a lot of Indian ingredients and lets it simmer until you get one of the finest "curry" westerns imaginable. Though obviously very much inspired by the "spaghetti" westerns of the late 1960s/early 1970s, this easily surpasses most of the films it's modeled after. A masterpiece.

    CHUNK!

Word is they're going to remake it. I hope this doesn't happen, leave it as a classic!

    They were all pretty good.
The Matrix was a spin out watching it the first time.

+1 for Sholay ! Only Bollywood movie where the dialogue was as popular as the movie itself.
In the same vein I thoroughly enjoyed the various Terence Hill / Bud Spencer spaghetti westerns..."Watch Out We're Mad etc"

I reckon this one was wayyy too long.
Some of the other Tarantino movies are overrated too.

I loved Jackie Brown. I did not like Reservoir Dogs at all though.

I really like Pulp Fiction of course.
But not Kill Bill. And turned Hateful Eight off halfway through. Trying to be too clever with the dialogue.

    Kill bill was dreadful.
    Django was not bad.
As for hateful 8 lucky I downloaded it haha. It did end quite well you should have stuck with it.
To me it felt like a stage show converted into a film..

Tarantino is a cult following, not comparing him to others, don't mind watching him because it mixes things up a bit.

That is a great list. Of your top 10, 8 of them are some of my all time favourites. ;)
