Anybody here City to surfing? I'm doing the blue start and hoping for sub 90 minutes. I may or may not achieve that time, but that's my aim. Last year I walked the hill.... Not ideal!

Yup. Yellow start. When did Blue start? The hill isn't even that bad at all! I half do this for the views of the mansions. First one was 1.18 with no training which is apparently not bad.

I love the homes and views too-! Terrible time this year though... Probably just under 2 hours. Oh well. Blue started 8.30am.

How come the slowdown? Did they change the finish as you turn the corner? Looked and felt twice as long as last year!

Managed 1.29 but got stuck with a nephew who didn't understand the meaning of 'pace yourself'. Ditched him pretty quick :D

Perfect day for big breakfast and beer on the beach. Surprised no other PCers ran...

Not the one who paid $80 solely to beat his previous time that's for sure :p

I actually thought about entering the run this year. Which is more than I did last year.

This was supposed to be my training for the Blackmores half marathon... :(
I think I was surrounded by too many walkers lol. And you only go as fast as the people you see around you, right?

Well done guys. Nice clear day for it. Was red start myself and managed to get the time I was after. Getting older now, so probably all down hill from here ;-) (next year)
