    Would you opt for more money for a church converted residence or it's generally a discount?

    Something a bit unique? I'd pay extra for that. High ceilings, history....

    Me too. Unless of course it looks like @thatbum 's church then I'd go discount. Not all churches are pretty :p

    IIRC, in Aust colonial days, the RC church was prohibited from installing steeples, so the highest point in the township was selected.
