NSW Chatswood Meetup - Wed April 10th

    It's been a while (nearly 5 years!) since we had a meetup at the Chatswood RSL - during all the construction work nearby, parking got too difficult so we stopped going, but I think now is a good time to get things happening again.

    So from 6pm Wednesday 10th April - social meetup at the Chatswood RSL club.

    Everyone is welcome - this is just a social meetup with no agenda - come and meet some new people and chat to some like-minded investors. Doesn't matter if you can't get there by 6pm, we'll be there a few hours - just pop in for a drink and/or some dinner.

    We'll be at the tall tables with stools along the front near the Victoria Ave entrance. I'll try and print some PropertyChat signs to put on the table.

    Don't forget that because this is a club, if you live in the area - you'll need to join as a member ($5.50 per year), but then you get discounted drinks/food so it's well worth it.

    Just found my Chatswood RSL membership card - expires end of 2019 ... I must have taken out a 5 year membership! ... #winning :D

    Will be much better for me once the Metro opens. Trying to park in Chatswood can be painful.

    Second the metro!
    It would be a ~16 minute train ride to my home train station once its in place.
    I haven't taken any of the station link bus services at all since they have been operating.....

    Westfield or the Concourse are probably the cheapest and only about a 7-10 minute walk away - unless you can luck into some street parking closer. There are several Wilson (or other branded) carparks on the western side of the railway line, but I think they don't have a free parking allowance.

    The club does have free parking for members both on site (Thomas St) and also at a nearby Enacon (?) carpark across the road (entrance Brown St) - refer to Getting to the Club - Chatswood RSL

    I think we may have to do Burger Patch another time - it will be too difficult for people to find us if we start there. I figured we'd just do the club this time and perhaps look at mixing it up a bit next time with some burgers as well.

    But don't let me stop you from doing a burger first before joining us at the club! :D
