NSW Chatswood Meetup: burgers + drinks + birthday - Wed 19th June

Next Chatwood meetup will be Wednesday 19th June - which also happens to be the day after PropertyChat turns 4 years old, so let's make it a birthday celebration too!

We'll try something a little different this time - given that my favourite burger place is literally right next door to the Chatswood RSL, for those of you who are connoisseurs of fine burgers, let's meet at Burger Patch for an early dinner before heading over to the RSL club.

So here's the plan:

• 5:30pm Burger Patch (234 Katherine St, Chatswood - corner of Victoria Ave)
• 6:30pm Chatswood RSL club (Victoria Ave, Chatswood)

If you don't want to do burgers - you can just grab something from the RSL club and we'll meet you there.

For the carb conscious, Burger Patch do great "bunless" burgers too - but be warned: their thick shakes are irresistible and pretty much the complete opposite of low carb!!

Please let me know if you intend to come for burgers, so I can make sure we have enough tables reserved.

At the RSL club we'll be at the tall tables with stools along the front near the Victoria Ave entrance - I'll print some PropertyChat signs to put on the table too.

Everyone is welcome - this is just a social meetup with no agenda - come and meet new people and chat to some like-minded investors. Doesn't matter if you can't get there early, we'll be there a few hours - just pop in for a drink and/or some dinner.

The metro line will be fully operational by then too - so no excuses from the "Northwest" folks either!

From Burger Patch's Facebook feed this morning - go to the 7eleven across the road and buy some Krispy Kreme donuts, bring them to Burger Patch and they'll make you a Burger Patch Donut Burger!



So many carbs!

Not sure I could eat that - even ignoring the carb count. Maybe a cinnamon donut?

LOL - looking at the Burger Patch Facebook page, they've doubled down on the whole donut thing and gone all K-pop this week with a Blackpink theme. I had to Google who Blackpink were - apparently they're a pretty big deal!



Black Loaded Fries
Seasoned fries, jjajang chili con carne (black bean sauce), wasabi peas, served with Danmuji (Korean Daikon pickles)

Pink Shake
Strawberry cheesecake shake, pink pocky, sprinkles, BlackPink cup

Blink Burger
Double patty, double cheese, jjajang chili con carne, pink sprinkle donut


Not sure I'd go for any of them - but I appreciate their creativity.
