    Hi Fellas,

I am looking to buy my first property in and around Sydney. Ideally wanted to buy something I can live in but don't want to travel too much as yet.

I was looking around Western Sydney (Schofield, Riverstone) areas, however Central Coast ( woy woy, umina beach ) is also something I am considering.
My budget is around 700k and if I buy in central coast I will use that as Investment property.

    Suggestions please?

    Regards,
    -Mukul

Buy one property in each place, then buy another one .....and so on.

Not sure you would get anything around 700k in Schofields for sure. Did you look at Quakers hill? Prices have moved on in Quakers hill but the odd ones is still available for that price range

You'll get plenty of action in Mt Druitt for those dollars. And don't forget that Mt Druitt is in the Sydney metro area. Now that's a plus.

I feel that the CBD devalues Mt Druitt a bit though!

Quakers Hill has gone nuts again. Most things are under offer. So glad I chose to buy some there over Gladstone!! What was I thinking.
