    Its difficult position for the government who put such an emphasis on budget surplus to go back on that and enact the needed infrastructure stimulus.

    We need to encourage innovation as previously said by R&D incentives and minimising barriers to entry for new businesses or our bland economy will be at the mercy of the RBA inflating its balance sheet..

    Yeah after talking about it since the 1990s, couple of decades overdue. And not a complete gov project, there's private involvement as well...

    Oh what about the light rail kerfuffle?
