Gahahaha - he's different from my friend then. He has a 458 but when he takes the dogs, it's a clapped out ford laser from yesteryear he picked up for $1000. I'm sure he tells people "my other car is a Ferrari" and they think he's joking (and the rarri isn't the fastest car he owns either! ;)).

My dog would look at me and say 'you want me in the bucket, you put me in the bucket' and I'd bust a disc trying to do it.
Unfortunately most of the dog/back seat protectors don't allow you to have kids as well. My dog thinks she's a human (sigh!) so wants to sit next to the kids and not in the boot.
Luckily leather seats are easier to clean than fabric.

That's gold! What's his other car?
I joke around with my Gallardo mate that his car is slow compared to my Ducati's (which is true). The Duc's are worse for taking dogs though Hahahaha!

Believe it or not - the fast one is a Lancer Evo X - albeit with some serious blower and transmission work (to handle the thousand horses). Interestingly the 458 is faster in the first three gears - so better for a drag start (probably due to the taller gearing set up on the Lancer), but the Evo tears away after that (mind you that crazy machine spins 4 wheels even in 3rd so go figure)

    That's pretty full on.
Can't even imagine what people spend on them to get that much power.

@Azazel , another friend of mine (i'm obviously in the car and bike scene) spent approximately $120k on the motor for his drag car that made 2200hp! Big power cars cost a lot to screw together.

That's actually not too bad power per $ spent.
The big wastage spenders are in the car show scene. Not classics of course, that's never a waste.

We've successfully hijacked Cars for Dogs into Horses in the Engine Bay :D
Probably better start a separate thread before we're evicted.....

Everyone knows horsepower is a very important consideration for dog owners ;)
