    Hi

Asking on behalf of a friend. Property being managed by an agent, existing tenants have decided to leave and agent was looking for replacement tenants.

Agent has made offer to new tenants commencing in a fortnight, but owner wants to move in. Is it possible to cancel the incoming agreement without too much trouble?

Would have thought owners would have communicated this to the agent FIRST. The earlier the better.

It will depend on whether a binding contract has been entered into, and if so whether the new tenants agree.
