Can you stop paying for water to an IP?

    Oh, sorry - misread that. The property doesn't need to have a compliance certificate, but if you replace a fixture (toilet etc) it must be water efficient.

    Being a PM in Brisbane we would love for the water to be set up through the tenant to save the chasing of water invoices and payment from tenants.

    I hope that our lovely state will come to their senses and do the same as other states as it would make life a lot simple for owners. I just dont understand why we can do it for electricity and gas but not water

    wow a govt system that makes sense.....maybe that is what the extra stamp duty does ;)
