    If you've got your finance sorted out, then chances are the conveyancer has already done some work and would be reasonably entitled to be paid for their work, everything but the settlement may already be taken care of. Is it really worth the cost of having someone else start from scratch at this point?

    Appoint a new conveyancer and then tell the current one you are terminating their agreement.

    You may find that they will bill you for the full fee since almost all the work has commenced.
    What is the real reason its a problem ? Communication ? Have you communicated this ?? Its a two way process..

    Perhaps you are dealing with a staff member who isn't focussed and you have the wrong impression.

    You could but you're going to be charged twice (both firms will want their fee) and there's likely to be a fair bit of stuffing around. Can you stick it out with your current?

    @flatlinerz

    Why do you want to change?

    Is that lack of communication?
