Can anyone recommend a good selling agent in Mt Druitt?

    I'm playing with the idea of selling my Mt Druitt property & am in the process of looking for a good sales agent who will get me the best price (always curious about fees to use them)

    I've spoken to Aaron Shiner from Elliott Shiner .. Their fee's are 2.75%. He seems like a nice guy & has been doing it for a long time I gather.

    I've been recommended Chris Saleh from Erskine Park also by another PC'er .. Have phoned him but am yet to make contact

    I've also had some contact with Basel from Laing & Simmons from Mt Druitt .. Yet to speak to him again.

    Can anyone offer some insight/ advice or expirience with selling agents from the mounty county area

    For top dollar you cant go past Starr Partners, though I dont like the way they work.

    Basel is OK, its worth giving Ben Price real estate a call as well.

    OK, my go. Try Terry F. from raine horn St Marys. He's been in the game a long time and is not pushy.

    I wouldn't go with Terry F from R&H or with E!!iot Shiner.

    It's sales not rentals. I know some people may have had an issue with rentals.

    @skater has given me some really great info & im currently in talks with Chris (whom she recommended)

    Going to call some of the others you all have listed on Tuesday ..

    I don't know what's more tough for me at the moment .. Finding a sales agent OR accepting the fact I may have missed the opportunity to sell for more haha

    Ok here's where it's at

    Aaron shiner quoted me 2.75% to sell the property today

    I later phone starr partners, who quoted 2.5%

    Aaron has sent me paperwork tonight saying he would receive 2.5% ..

    Is there normally 'bargaining' room between agents or am I wishful thinking?

    I don't want to disrespect either of their jobs & respect that they're both professionals .. I'm just curious on the pricing process & what is courteous when it comes to selling

    The only thing you will need to watch for on these cheap quotes is that they dont charge you extra for something else eg, photography , they tried that with me !!
    Personally I like the name Aaron Shiner , has a ring to it .

    I would never use anyone else in the area for sales. Starr at Erskine Park, that is, not at St Mary's, although they are connected and you will get advertising at both of them.

    Raine & Horne? No, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. Yes, Datto I know it's sales, not rentals, but no...just no, not ever, nope.

    It's not all about price. And it's certainly not about who's got the best sounding name. It's about who will get the best result.

    Aaron Shiner was the one to go with during the last boom. They had the contract for the Housing Department sell offs and would auction them onsite. They would get top dollar for the auction (well over what similar properties were selling for), then take the underbidders around the other properties they were selling & offload those as well.

    The market is very, very different this time and they haven't been getting the same results as last time.
