I am about to make an offer on a property in QLD.

I checked their license number in the draft of REIQ contract that they have sent me for my review, and noticed their license number comes up as "resident letting agent" in the following website , not "real estate agent" nor "real estate salesperson".

    Check a licence

I wonder if resident letting agents are authorised to sell properties.

    Thank you,
    Sue

Doubt it. When I search their name/licence number, they only show up as resident letting agent
