That's OK. Any reply in this forum is respected. I know Rick knows this area well. That's why I specifically asked him. But thanks for letting me know you lived there. Maybe i can ask you too in future.
So BP is nothing like SH or Calamvale. OK. ..So the fact that I found a house for approx 300k in BP on a full size block isn't impressive then. I thought it looked good. Now....I'll just move along further north.

No no, it could very well be a good buy. I'm just saying SBH is in a whole different league and it's an apples and oranges comparison.

I like the south eastern side of Calamvale. Around Honeysuckle Way end, east of Beudesert Road, adjacent to Stretton. Good local shopping facilities, medical facilities, educational facilities, good public transport and easy access to main arterial roads & motorways north south east & west.

I suggest staying within the BCC precinct.

For that kind of money as many have suggested I would go closer to Brisbane CBD for townhouses etc.

On Logan, I would buy houses at that price point. Big houses, to match the demographic.

Target the demographic with the right product is the best way to get rental returns. In Logan, aim for big houses :)

    Cheers,
    Michael

You probably need to move up a bracket at the moment, look between $300,000 to $350,000.

Noticed you don't get much sub $300,000 these days. Unless you pick up something around $250,000 which can rent for $330-350 per week, that might work too.

    Cheers,
    Michael
