To me this is a simple gamble

Also in a rising market. Everything goes up

Mistakes can appear to be non mistakes

Which grassy lot? I would assume if you're going to drop 880k on a 2,000sqm block in a Development that is being released in stages, that you would build on it. Unless the block in question was bought to land bank and sell in 12 months time when a few more stages have been released and the price has increased beyond the 120k that it already has?

Thanks for the explanation. Mostly up here in Qld they start at Lot 1 and keep going regardless of what Stage the release number is. I've bought one is Stage 13 before that was Lot number 164 in the estate. Go figure. o_O

Well, the thread is titled "Buying New Land Releases. I'll let you debate the why's and why not's with @skuzy and
Im sure others will be interested on your input. Im just providing the link, so that people can then make a decision, based on the experience of others, on the board. I have no interest, monetary or otherwise. I'm just curious to see who has the right mindset..

So uh, why would you recommend this mob over any other to the forum? How will this company help with getting the correct mindset?

I don't remember recommending them, pretty sure I stated that already. Lets see who would proceed and who would not based on the link. Then we'll see who the real players are on this forum.

I'd say like in other threads, he's fishing for people to send him a private PM.

    (a) congratulations, any potential areas in mind.
    (b) exactly, why should you buy it, or why wouldn't you buy it..????
    (c) I dont, I have no interest in residential, not on my radar.

Only you can answer your last question. Do you have the mindset to make a positive decision.!!!!

Do you have any affiliations or vested interest with the LWP Property Group ?

We need to see the disclaimer or confession here .

While your busy doing absolutely nothing, search Dale Carnegie. Read about "divide and conquer". Then when you think you have the correct answer, let me know.

No thanks, plenty more fun things to do right now. Good luck with whatever you're trying to sell though.

A few of us were planning a business trip up the Hunter Valley awhile ago, to see if it was all it was cracked up to be. The whole are looks promising, close to Newcastle etc and the freeway and the grape vines, if you like a vino or four. The link, just happened to be one I grabbed from my email, ages ago. I like projects like this, especially by big thinkers.
