    Hi there,

Wondering how people are currently buying interstate, if at all in this current crisis.

Personally, I am looking to buy in Brisbane but as a NSW resident & with the current border restrictions in place I'm unsure whether it is possible to apply for expemtion to cross the border to inspect properties in Queensland.

Likewise im curious if anyone has had any experience in TAS, Northern Territory, South Aus & West Aus who also have there current borders shut to non-residents.

Yeah it's totally understandable too, just hope Queenslands borders aren't shut too much longer as i've seen some stellar opportunities come on the market in recent times.

Have you got any Mexican friends? They’ve been crossing the USA border reasonably successfully for years. ;) I’m sure they can offer some advice. :p

Why not use a BA if they announce the border will stay closed for longer than you'd ideally like?

If the borders remain shut, I will likely use a buyers agent to avoid missing out on opportunities.

But for now I don't see too much reason to be in a hurry, thanks for your feedback @My House QLD
