    Fair enough, and maybe I'm not most people :) I want my clothes to actually dry in winter, and I (already) have a covered patio with laundry lines + mobile racks for drying stuff under cover, so having an uncovered clothesline that's mostly in the shade adds little value. That's why I now have a Hills Hoist in an area with better sun, so I can choose from the best of both worlds :D
