    With Sydney's north west growing and unaffordable for us we have considered windsor or richmond to buy something like a villa or duplex. Do you think these areas will grow in the next 10 years?

    i guess they will but albeit a slower rate due to distance and lack of infrastructure compared to the northwest.

    when buying an area you should consider infrastructure near shops shopping centre schools train stations facilities.

    They are seriously far out.... have you lived there?
    Btw, there are lovely historic properties in these suburbs... that's what I'd buy if I was to buy there.... But I don't think I could live there myself. Just too far away.

    Yes, for the same reason as you are considering a move there.....but not as well as somewhere closer in that has higher demand.
