    Hi friends and experts
Im interested in buying an investment property in Ipswich city council area, under the Current Title Search it has the below statement.
"For depth restriction refer to plan SP 17xxxx"
Im not so sure about the above statement. Some say its normal for that area. Some say its a new thing since the "Ipswich sinkhole" news.
I was wondering if any can assist what it refers to and if I should stay away from this property.

    Hi Jungle,
My town planner partner says "This is pretty normal procedure for many Councils who have a history of mining in the area. It's always a good idea to get in contact with a local geotechnical engineer if you're having doubts, or speak with Council as they are always happy to help with information in this area."

    Hope that helps
