VIC Buying a property in Fawkner (FHB)

    Hi all,

    I have been in the property market for a while now trying to find a property that would eventually tick most of the boxes (price , size of master bedroom, size of living room, proximity to Australian International Academy in Coburg). We have found a house that we inspected and intend to inspect again. I managed to get core logic's report for that property and what caught my eye is that it has been on the market for 80 days, however the property is going for auction on the 12th of Feb.

    I spoke to the agent and he mentioned that the owners are looking for something in the higher range of the estimate, I told him I want to place an offer of $730K, he insisted it might not be accepted, but there is nothing to lose if we try. Now, should I just go to the auction or place a proper offer of $730K ? Can you please advise me on anything that might be concerning regarding the property.
