    Hi there,

Can anyone recommend a buyer's agent in either Brisbane or the Gold Coast?

    Thanks in advance.

There are about five hundred in the area and about 5 good ones.

The best company depends on the type of house you are looking for because they all tend to have thier niche.

    ppor or investment? Budget?

That is not a very good percentage.

Why are there so many that are not classified as 'good'?

I'm Brisbane based, and tbh there isn't much possible under 550k, so I cant really provide a recommendation.

For the same reason that there are so many sales agents that aren't good. It looks easy from the outside but in reality its a tough model that relies almost entirely on the skill of the person on the job.

There are many that keep spinning their wheels, and never get the momentum they need to get clients, get premarket and offmarket opportunities and build a business that churns out success for clients every day.

In the last 5 years or so, there has been a huge number of people going from new investor, to buying a 2nd or 3rd property and then becoming a buyers agent. I relate it to the federal governments insulation rebate, every man and his dog was getting into and most had no clue.
