    I watched the podcast, that is the message however Australia and few other countries where it worked better than the rest of the countries studied

    Study done by fund managers that make more money when you keep sending them money every month.
    Using the parameters to suit their pre determined outcome.

    "buy the dip”, the strategy implies that available capital is sitting idle while waiting for the right time to invest."
    Correction could be a bunch of kids doing school project.

    If you don't have capital sitting idle, then you can't buy the dip.

    If you have it invested elsewhere and then sell it to buy into equities, that's rebalancing.

    LOC, Offset accounts, withdraw on existing loans, sell other assets, scrounge for 3 mths etc etc etc.

    I bought the dip by rebalancing on the way down, this is usually with inflows but due to the rapid fall I sold some bonds to buy shares, looking back at sell/buy days on the fall
