    Hello,

We are looking to buy a home(say a house with 3 BHK, 3 bath and 2 car park with a total area including land of around 2000 sq. m) around 15-30 kms from Castle Hill(where my wife works). We want a rural kind of home with decent space for keeping pet animals like horse/dog etc. but at the same time it should be too far from the city and for my wife to travel. So we are targetting a home in or around the Galston/Glenorie/Forest Glen/Cattai area.

Can someone please suggest a budget for this kind and any pros and cons for this investment? What are the rates going on in this area for such kind of a property? Our budget is around $750,000 most of which will be financed through loan.

Ohhh... my guess would have been 2mill. Do a search on domain or realestate.

This is exactly what we're looking for in terms of the location. But just going out of budget. Our budget is about 600k-750k even if there are less no. of bedrooms and bathrooms.

Perhaps a compromise on land size and budget might see you in a position to buy? Anyway, set up realestate alerts. My honest opinion is, I think you will have difficulty at the price you want though.

Thanks! What would be the rent of such homes(like the ones you mentioned which costed around $1 million)? Around $700 per week? Would it be easy to rent it out?

I suggest you'd need to talk with a local agent!
