    Hi all,

I've been looking at this area. Any ones thoughts?

Dunsborough concerns me as it appears to have a lot of development, but not a big population. Is it more a retirement area?

Is there enough work down here, or is it more a lifestyle area?

    Cheers

It's definitely a lifestyle area. I'd go Busssellton over Dunsborough, it has the advantage of being commuteable distance to Bunbury.

Dunsborough is by far the best place ever IMO.....lots to sea & doo & relax....close to best attractions in SW including Busselton/Margaret River...also not toooo far to commute from Bunbury and then onto Perth metro. FYI vacancy rate increased markedly in last 7 or so months, however, appears to be dropping back a little...(was getting $480p/w now $420).....Lots of construction going ahead in the Lakes area that will dampen market for a while.....Not a lot of industry apart from tourism related on the job front....Bana are you looking to buy or build??

Any updates on the Dunsborough market or South West in general?

    Still oversupply at the moment.

If you are looking for a holiday home then fine, been good for this for some time, IP, no go
    Rents are also very low.
