Has anyone flown business class with China Airlines? I've never flown with them before but I'm tempted by $4,150 return each NZ to LA vs $6.5k return each with Air NZ. Are they any good?

    Worth trying these guys?
Real experts, genuine savings. The best in corporate travel.
Apparently they used to be quite good finding programs with points and what not to get you a better price. When I tried them, they weren't that great, but didn't end up charging me anything. So if I ever do anything out of the ordinary, I'll give them another go.

Is it a new routing, or multi-stop?

AKL to LAX looks incredibly complicated (2 stop - Brisbane and Taipei)

    AKL > BNE > TPE > LAX

The one I saw stopped at Auk and TPE. It was a long stopover though in Taipei (about 12hrs). I think I'll try a couple of travel agents to help work it out. Ideally I want to fly into Las Vegas and spend some time around there, do a road trip to Santa Barbara for my course then fly out of LA.

    What's difference in trip times?

It will double or triple the time if there are crappy connections. Forget it.

Can’t comment on business class, but in China have done economy internal flights with four different Chinese airlines. All were excellent.

Noting that China Airlines is a Taiwanese carrier, and Air China is a PRC carrier - 2 very different companies.
