Who are you banking with in your business? We are currently with Westpac and using a Tyro EFTPOS . Anybody tried Tyro banking?

I've not used Tyro myself, but I've read pretty good things about them.

I know a lot of the retailers in this area use the Commonwealth Bank POS machines and seem pretty happy with them.

Are you looking at POS solutions only or online payment processing as well?

Tyro is the only reliable pos/EFTPOS in our area, expensive in comparison but it works each and every time. Other EFTPOS machines fail to complete transactions on a regular basis. I was more wondering if people had found a decent fee free business banking account with a quality online portal.

We are still stuck with large numbers of cheques each month so our bank fees are ludicrous.

Aus post can bank cheques (and cash) for the big four banks, you just need a bank account with a card attached. As far as I have seen this attracts no fees and still take the normal 3 days.
