What are the driving factors there? Is there anyone familiar with the local market.

We visit often as my daughter lives there. Great lifestyle.

General vibe is positive, new estates being developed, new school sites identified, shopping centres being upgraded. Big new Bunnings. Town area busy, hard to get a car park, looks prosperous, can’t remember seeing any vacant shops.

Cane farms being converted to small crops, harvest several times a year. Big new packing facilities being built on farms. Jobs for backpackers.

Qantas and Virgin fly there several times a day each from Brisbane. Each time we have flown the plane has been full.

Can’t comment on rental market. House prices seem to be steady.
