    My concoction is pretty boring.

Use the coffee machine to make a long black/espresso.

Drop in a wedge of unsalted butter.

Pour in a bit of MCT oil (be careful with this - too much can cause you to run to the toilet)

    Voila

As someone who doesn't drink coffee, but is prepared to experiment - can anyone suggest a good decaf coffee to try? Instant is probably best. I've got nothing to compare it against, so I'm not after anything fancy - just not something nasty.

@Simon Hampel I'm a coffee philistine so for me the Aldi decaf does just fine. You can always return it if you don't like it :) Another option easy to find is republica.

If you are absolutely keen on avoiding coffee in all forms then then next best option is Nestle Caro

I'll bring a blender and we can chuck the bacon and eggs in as well. :)

Anything consumed without cutlery is not a meal.

I know it's not 'bulletproof' per se but would coconut cream be an option for you?
About 6 years ago we were trying to increase the fats in the kids diet as they couldn't eat milk or soy proteins. Coconut cream was one of the few things we had left and coconut oil wasn't around then. We made smoothies, custard, mousse, soups etc with it.

In terms of good instant decaf I would go for Republica or Robert Timms bags

They could all be eaten with tools, though. A drink is not a meal - maybe unless it's beer.

While at uni I got a job delivering pizzas for a small independent pizza shop in Adelaide - run by two Greek brothers. They had taken over the shop next door and expanded with a full kitchen so they could do ribs / kebabs / yiros / schnitzels / seafood / etc.

Not long after I started there I decided to try one of their yiros - something I'd never tried before. Of course, I made the rookie mistake of trying to unwrap it before eating it and because it was going everywhere, I gave up and asked for a knife and fork to eat it with.

I was very nearly fired on the spot. You do NOT eat a yiros with a knife and fork!

Yeah, that would be a sackable offense. They are probably still talking about it.

@Steven Ryan, can I ask where you're buying your Brain Octane Oil from?

Not high fat, but La Croix sparking waters seem to be a favoured Keto drink, along with Some Starbucks drinks

I don't think I've ever heard keto and Starbucks mentioned in the same sentence before?

Unless they are trying to cash in on the new hipster fad diet stuff?

Previously all their products were known for ridiculously high amounts of added sugar.

PS. @Redwing didn't recognise you with the new avatar - quite appropriate for your nick!

    That was quite interesting!

Still, the thread kind of does prove my point about just how much sugar is in Starbucks - you'd be better off avoiding them completely.

According to the thread, their "Sugar Free" syrups use Sucralose instead, which is something I think you want to be a little bit careful with.

Personally, I think you're better off simply weaning yourself off sweet foods (and especially sweet drinks!) and only eat naturally sweet food (eg fruit / honey / etc) occasionally as a treat - rather than simply swapping your sugar craving for some other substitute (natural or otherwise) which keeps you addicted to the sweetness.
