The signs point to the need to build the temple and get some live heart extractions happening to prevent this recession asap!

As an adjunct, @fullylucky may need to bore a well to the earth's core in order to replicate a volcano for sacrifices at the altar.

I wondered how people got that look in their temples.
This is definitely in vogue at the moment.

Good on you Fullylucky - do what makes you happy. Who is anyone to say that it's not going to look good. I look forward to seeing the finished product.

I'm with the majority here - there is a reason why, when renovating for profit, one goes for the non-offensive colour scheme, layout and fittings - then adds the pops of colour and "inexpensive" knick knacks that make the property desirable ... it leads to more buyers. A temple with be polarising and personally I'd be ripping it out.

A raised vege garden or tiered herb gardens would add so much more value, at a fraction of the cost ... but each to their own.

Enjoy the process, but don't expect it to increase sale potential of value.

Bah ha ha ha ha. How did I miss this thread?

I'm so stoked that you are building it. I really, really, really hope you build this to completion. (And make sure you make a devoted effort to point it out to the valuer).

To be honest I think the bottom layer looks a little unstable. You going to concrete those ones in place or something?

I'm not gonna concrete coz that will be like a permanent

Not sure.... but I measured it and they are very level... so it's good enough. I used ancient "water" techniques ensure everything is square and leveled.

What should I put in the center? At the moment i'm just thinking a big chimney stack that connects to the top.

Well at the moment I haven't spent anything yet. All the pavers were donated. I had to spend time and fuel to pick them up but...

Just a thought. I grew up in a house hold that had a similar structure constructed with a basil plant in it. And yes people do worship it.

I'm sure @datto has something like that in the Druitt and people worship it too.

    It's weird looking basil but...

I wish you wouldn't interrupt me in the middle of a worship.

Now where was I? Hey it's my turn!......
