    Howdy,

Looking for opinions on this one. Got a building report back. Usual story for the most part, but one part of the report worries me. It says:

"Sections to timber walls shifted / damaged. Repairs / upgrading needs to be budgeted for. Front brick fence /wall shifted and leans. Mid front yard low brick single wall leans significantly. Left side block wall damaged with a tree up to the wall. Upper side block walls damaged / cracked and leaning to sections. Asbestos cement sheet wall / fence leans.Ideally needs safe removal".

"Where a major defect is identified in any retaining wall regardless of height it is essential that an engineers report be obtained. Further deterioration expected. Quotes should be called for assessment and upgrades".

What would you do in this instance? Organise engineers report straight away? How much will this be? Negotiate on price? There was a number of offers. Still conditional for another 10 days.

    Thanks
