Building Insurance Recommendations?

    Bank requires building insurance to book in settlement, but it seems that most places only offer combined landlord's insurance rather than just building insurance. Am I correct to just go with building insurance now and then top up with landlord's insurance when we settle? If so, who does everyone recommend?
    For reference this property is in regional vic.

    How many days settlement?

    You can start landlord now or just get building from many companies. NRMA and QBE come to mind that I've used before.
