    Hello everyone

just wonder can we build duplex over or near water or sewerage pipes or easements as in the picture?

It is under Catenbury Bankstown Council Sydney. 25 * 23 = 575 sqm

The place to start would be a visit to Council and see a Town Planner or the Duty Planner. I'd think they would want the pipes encased in concrete making them virtually maintenance free. Even if you got it through, many (mostly Asian) buyers of a feng shui persuasion would not consider purchasing such a property.

I replaced a garage/studio some years ago which encroached over the domestic sewer line (house to main sewer) I had to replace old pipes (clay) with pvc and encase them in concrete. Most probably not the planner you need but the plumbing section in building control (whatever it is called now days).
