Hi there, I’ve been reading a few threads regarding building in overland flow areas in Brisbane. I was curious to know, I’m in the process of getting quotes for a deck. I live at Wavell Heights, my street is an overland flow area. The builder mentioned not being able to build a deck bigger than 25sqm without additional council approval “Overland Flow Hazard Assessment” because I am situated in an overland flow area. Are you able to shed any light regarding this? Is this correct?
