Hi FYI the same thing happened to us - big Brivis heater installed in a very tight spot in the ceiling and official Brivis guys just charge you to say they can't do anything. Builder says it is installers fault, installer says builder told them to squeeze it in wherever most convenient on the day, most warranties expired anyway for us so we did not pursue any legal redress. If in Melbourne try masgas as they will actually have a stab at fixing it despite the poor access - luckily our problems so far have been fixable as my wife loves the feel of the gas ducted heating and did not want to give up on it. We also had trouble with our Brivis air conditioning unit and ended up getting Panasonic split system air conditioning which seems much cheaper to run for cooling and even heating. Lesson learnt for me is that ducted heating and cooling may be more trouble than its worth.
