Builders insurance on new house, would this be covered?

    Hi all,

    Just a quick question on our ppor....

    We purchased a little over a year ago and was about 6 months old when we purchased the property.

    The house is on a bit of a hill and the ground is fairly rocky. As is a split level house, we have a very large area under the main level (basically the subfloor) as originally the owner was going to build a media room.

    Seems as a result of their plans there is absolutely no ventilation under the house and at the back of the house there is a reasonable amount of water getting under there and is making not only under the house but tgroughout the house very mouldy and smelling of damp.

    Is this soumething that would be covered by builders warranty insurance??
