    Hi Everyone,

I'v just joined this forum. I want to buy an IP and want to use the equity that I have on my ppor for the down payment. I want to contact my bank via a broker to facilitate this process. Then once I have the funds in the offset account then I am gonna buy an IP.

Is there any broker from Melbourne here? Or do you know anyone?
Using broker does not have any cost for me and potentially I am gonna get a better deal ,am I right?

    Thanks

Brokers generally don't charge a fee for service - we're paid a commission from the bank.

Can we get better deals? Possibly.

Focus more on using a broker that will give excellent advice on loan structure and longer term planning to grow your portfolio.

Plenty of brokers on here to choose from.

    Cheers

    Jamie

I have used @Peter_Tersteeg and recommend him highly.

Do a search on his posts and you will get a feel for his level of experience which is first rate.
