NSW Broadway 1185 Student Apartments

Everytime I search in Domain etc I see these Student Units in Broadway Sydney for Sale.
There must be a high turnover.
They are ranging from about 180k plus and really havent had much CG over the years I I have seen them advertised.

Rental income seems to be good though , I am starting to wonder if they would be good investments ?
It says in the adverts they are managed by a Student accomodation service ,and IP only, is it possible in the future you the owner could move in ?

Why is there always high turnover ?

Anyone own a unit at 1185 Broadway or looked at them ??

 

I looked at them. they are limited to students only. You can never move into it or rent it to anyone else. This is enforced. The one I looked at was super small too 20-30 sqm!

Can't remember much else about it, sorry....

 

Some were selling for 100-135k 10-12 years ago.

CGT evident but not great.

You will need to investigate management fees and finance eligibilties before making a call on these.

You're unlikely to find anyone on here firstly, that would buy this sort of property and secondly, would admit to it.
