    Thanks for the detailed reply.
    All a bit beyond me at this stage ;)
    We're looking into raising a house, but want to subdivide the block later on. Makes sense to subdivide now, because our "setbacks" will shrink with the small lots sizes, will be able to move the current house over slightly.
    I don't really get things until I have done it though.
