I just wanted to know how I should spell it. And came across an old thread from 2002. "How about calling Brissy , Brisbane"
Brissy doesnt even... just no. You never call yourself an Aussy. Its always drop the last part of the word and add ie. So as an Aussie in Brissie we have a barbie when its not too sunnie...
Hmmm... Aussie, Brissie, barbie, yes. But it's Sunny. Hmmm... yes, I'll go with BNE too. I worked in travel for a heck of a long time but domestic travel wasn't the focus. The "" was for everything else. Love this option!
Edit: I was allowed to add options! So now you can ahead and vote for whatever you like. I've now made it multiselect too. Bri$$ie - just vote where you feel is most correct. Ps. @Leo2413, did you make them pink dollars for a purpose?
Nothing... I was actually thinking chasing or following the pink dollar could be a great strategy... double income and no kids are quite common in that kind of household --> loads of disposable income $$$$. Newtown is trendy....
Sydney's Newtown.... I was wondering if I should state the state too but decided people may be able to figure out Newtown NSW as a gay/LGBTI friendly place....
Newtown, Toowoomba, QLD is also trendy - full of ferals and bogans. I have never been a trendy person (cripes, I like working and buying property) so I have never fitted in.
