    @Codie

    The way we designed the engineering for the homes, they will be built into the slopage of the land with minimal cut and fill and actually only 2 small slabs and one, 1m high RW in the rear of the land. My biggest concern was hitting rock as our bore holes report indicated some heavy rock.

    Turns out where the hard rock was situated was mostly under the slab areas and not where pools/retaining were to be. I had a provisional sum of 40k for site works and we are still well within that allowance. The site manager has been on the ball at every step so far. Slabs to be down soon.

    I have a friend who is developing not far away and they hit rock.....he was telling me every time the escavator hit rock he could hear chik ching! When my architect was building his own swimming pool they hit so much rock that he couldn't stand it and told them to stop. Very unique bottom shape of the pool he has :D

    Nothing sexy happening just boring site works. Concreteing the footings today and putting some of the blockwalls up on friday.

    The plumbing for the underslabs will start tomorrow and take two days. Then the concreters will start preping friday and pour piers and slabs next Tuesday week. The rest of the block walls up from there. So far no major dramas. Fingers crossed until we get out of the ground.

    Should be nice for the buyer/family to entertain on the deck facing those elevated views with a beer in one hand while bbq sizzling away in the background.

    Ill be testing out the deck with a presale party one night prior to the launch :D

    Add me to the vip list please ;) I think the views are a massive bonus. I've seen some recent sales in HP and HPW with views that showed a major uplift compared to the average product.

    Also expecting an invite. I promise to throw out comments all night about how much of a steal the new buyer would be getting and how people would be silly not to buy em.
