Hubby is really into Halloween, we lived in a suburb in Sydney with lots of American ex-pats so it was pretty big there.. He wants to be home for it, might see if I can sneak off but he might feel weird handing out lollies to kids on his own LOL

Short walk there for us though, so a definate maybe!

In town for the day - should be able to delay flight. Might be able to get there for an hour or so.

Sorry, guys, but a chaotic afternoon meant for a later finish last night than expected. Hope you all had a great time.

 

How was the parking with Hocus Pocus?

Would have loved to come but 5 kids and Halloween........

 

Parking wasn't so bad, I don't think anyone had a problem getting parks? It was super crowded and busy earlier with Halloween, but there seemed to be parks here and there.

Great catch up, it was fantastic to meet some local members!

I counted nine people who dropped in between 6:00 and about 8:00 before we called it a night at 9:30. Almost all of us were first timers for an in-person catch up and we're all keen to get it happening more often for the sleepy Brisbane membership.

Special thanks to @namrata for organising the location, keeping everyone up to date in the post leading up to the catch up and arriving early to secure us the perfect table!

We're thinking another catch up maybe prior to Christmas? It might be fair to make this one on the north side somewhere like the Eatons Hill Hotel like @Angel suggested- are there many northside members around?
