Another great tool to use. This shows you crimes committed over different periods. I use this a lot. We almost bought a townhouse in Springwood, as it looked like a good area. Crime rate was very high, including drug offences, numerous break ins etc. - Online Crime Map

No problems. This is a great forum for sharing information. FYI - I have posted more tools in the Resources and Tools forum. :)

Living in a next door suburb I can't give you details on the townhouses, but I can tell you the area is a winner! Lot's of rolling hills with big expensive houses with city views. There is also the new Coorparoo square which I frequent often for the great dining, cinema and groceries :) Good luck!

I was going to suggest Carina Heights as an insider's cheat to those who like Camp Hill but I've just looked at the prices and they seem to have shot up

Just saw this, so a late reply perhaps. We're in a Coorparoo townhouse, a bit further west towards Greenslopes in the vicinity of Chatsworth and Upper Cornwall.

Did you end up buying at Boongall Road?

We looked at one for sale in that Derby St complex a few years back, they wanted way too much for it and were trying to get it sold before the big unit building out the back was started, which it turned out did block out a fair bit of light and the view. Noise from Cav Rd was an issue, and a tired complex.

Interesting that as of today the one you linked there at Derby is still for sale at the listed price from months back!
