QLD Brisbane Monthly Meetup

Hi All

Have talked about this for a while but have been crazy busy. We used to meet up years ago monthly, keen to get going again.

So I'm going to have a crack at getting going here - Victoria Park Bistro | Restaurant Cafe in Brisbane North Close to city but heaps of free parking.

Plan is to have no agenda, no presentations etc (we did that years ago and was good and bad aspects) just chatting over a leisurely breakfast or dinner.

1st Tuesday of Month 8 am Breakfast

1st Tuesday of Month 5:30pm Dinner

I'll commit to going to both on the same day for first 2 months and then hopefully there is key group and I'll do one or t'other

If you are keen post in here so I can reserve table.

 

@Ahmad this is probably a better topic haha! Let's get something happening.

 

I'm keen. Have met with a few Brisbane PC members already and all it takes is setting a day and time.

 

Would be interested too. My preference is for breakfast, 5:30 is always hard to impossible. Day invariably run over or there are other evening commitments.

 

I would be keen D, depending on work commitments.

 

I have heard of long lunches that have rolled into dinner time but this is the first time I seen a breakfast rolling into dinner

 

Awesome. Well I am going to do both. So I assume I'll be the only double up and then if they get established I'll just go to one of them.

 

9 hour lunches are good, starting at breakfast time though makes it hard to get through that 3pm slump.....

 

Excellent.

Let's get them both running and then if the people at each different slot what to make it more structured or whatever then that group can decide. To start with lets just do as meetup and chat and laid back. See where it goes.

I'm still on way. I'm stuck in traffic and had a bit of drama with charity this morning

 

I'm interstate this week, but very keen for the breakfast session next month.
