I'm just about to exchange on my 5th there. Have been accumulating since late 2013 when I thought Sydney got too expensive.

    It's definitely starting to move.

Is anyone looking around the Brisbane satellite cbd's? I've found in or adjacent to those type areas to be nice CG hubs.

I was looking in Chermside ages ago, it's time passed for me.
Not being near a train station takes it off my list, especially with the awful traffic since the tunnels opened.

My near satellite cbd joint has done about 18% in the last two and half yrs I've had it. Not bad but nowhere like Sydney either , and still plenty of room for growth I think.

Chermside is still well serviced by buses and close to tunnels so lack of train station shouldn't be reason for not investing there.

I agree.... I have a prop in Upper Mt Gravatt satellite cbd. Not a trainline but has a bus transport hub.. and CG has doubled since last cycle.

I was looking for IP/PPOR. Used to drive from Newmarket to the Valley, traffic became awful once they opened the tunnel. Don't think I could handle it from further out.
Bicycle or train however was outstanding.

It has 'heights' in it so it must be nice. I'm not that familiar with the market in East Brisbane - or the East of Brisbane ;)

Actually I wish I had bought in Sydney back then; would have had 3x the growth by now.

Myeh, Sydney's overrated. I'm sure everyone could have a long list of properties they would have bought upon reflection. Doesn't work like that, as above look forward!

ahh yes,, the lovely media bless their souls. Sitting back and waiting for them to do my marketing. It will happen sooner or later. Then all we do is sit back and watch our equity climb another nice few notches, while the rest of country continue to talk about the imminent collapse of 'the market'.:D

Yeah I agree with this. Not having train shouldn't be a deal breaker Imo..
As long as it's well serviced by busses and has good infrastructure...
Look at Mossman. No train line but well connected by bus... Its done very well.
