    You aren't looking beyond the first row of data. Perhaps this week there is nothing for sale under $600k. What about in a few month's time when a cheaper property comes onto the market, worth a lot less than $600k.

    Look at your criteria.

    How do you think you are going to find a house in an inner ring suburb, close to a train station, cash flow positive and within a $500k. You wont even get a block of land in an inner ring for that price.

    Search the forum for Moreton Bay region

    Keep looking they are not all 600+. You can get 3x1 in low 500's. Do a search on recent sales to get an idea. You may even get in under 500 if you buy on a main rd or something needing a minor cosmetic reno.
