Hi - any suggestions for great local places to go for purchase of bathroom items for an upcoming reno? Usual items like toilets, freestanding bath, towel rails etc.

Not looking for super high quality, but good value for PPOR.

Thought there would be some on here that have had recent experiences that could be valuable.

    Thanks!

I'm buying from Highgrove Bathrooms. Reece is more expensive but also has nice products.

    Higrove is expensive.

    I'm still using Bunnings.
Bunnings dropped their bottom priced range since masters went out of business. So shower screens for instance were 189 now 289.

    1m mirrors were $40 now $80-100

Highgrove, Reece, Bunnings, eBay, Gumtree, local Facebook Buy and Swap, Chinese Ads....It really depends on the specific items. If you're not careful you can pay more on towel rails and toilet roll holder than shower screen.

But for us the highest cost is labor: tiler, waterproofer, plasterer, plumber....If you can get some good reliable ones, half the battle is won.

Yes - there are many sources for these products. Was just after opinions on the best value places for probably medium quality goods, as prices can vary enormously.

Tender disposals at Springwood has good stuff really cheap at times. Have a look at their Facebook page.

Edited to add: pretty close to Ikea, on the other side of the highway

Got these floor tiles for $9.80sqm
    Anywhere else circa 25.

Discount tile warehouse in slacks creek (near all the car dealers parallel with the motorway).

This is a work in progress photo of the bathroom Reno in Kingston at present

Nice - is that a stone look on the floor. Same colour scheme as I was planning - white and grey.

@Greyghost can you please tell me the name of these tiles? I've chosen a $30 sqm tile but these look great for one third that price.

I like Tile Wizards stock and prices, for all types of floor coverings.

We found IKEA vanitys didnt hold up well to moisture in the room, even with an extractor fan, our vanity paint has started to peel and the 'timber' has swollen in parts. Saying that, the actual sink and taps have been fine.

We just recently finished our bathroom in our PPOR soon to be rented out. We used Gold star bathrooms. Owner's name is Shannon. Turned out good, just wished I had used our own tiler.
