Brisbane Agents behavior

    Hi Patrick, just curious - why would you recommend a house over a townhouse? Is it due to higher expected appreciation on land value over time vs depreciation in house value or is there more to it?

    I generally prefer houses in Brisbane because of the land content as well as the versatility of the asset being able to add value in many different ways.

    Also I personally believe the best overall dwelling type for Brisbane is a house followed by townhouse than a botique building unit.

    You get capital gains on land so my strategy is to maximise the land component of any purchase as close to the city as possible .
