Bris-Vegas Newb Greetings

Hi All,

A Brisbane based newbie to property here. I'm in my 30's, work in commercial construction, have just purchased my 1st property and it's my PPR at present. I've started out with a 1980's built 2 bed apartment in a block of 6 in Coorparoo.

Looking to soak up the experience and advice from the members here and take the next step with my first investment property!

 

Brisbane locals referring to Brisbane as Bris-vegas makes me exceptionally sad.

Apologies for the Vegas faux pas, I'm a recent import from that state that can't win an Origin series...haven't reviewed the brissy rule book yet!

Rule Number 1. Don't ever call it Bris-vegas. Brisbanites will know you are an alien.

PS. Old 2 bed brick apartment in Coorparoo sounds good.
