This is a thread that was posted on SS, just had a quick look Sash calling peak of Sydney 2018/19, I called it 2016 at the time, so I got it wrong as here we are today and it is still booming. None the less it has been a great market for investors.

    Hi All,

as per my previous posts..I am now formally calling that the Sydney market has topped out. Anyone who is getting in from this point onwards is probably not going to see much growth.

So what happens now....there will be a period where people will pay sill prices thinking the market will go higher.

People need to assess their risk and make a conscious decision whether they will stay for the long term or take profits and get out. Just don't go buying stuff now!

I am calling a severe correct by 2018-2019 in Sydney..... :p

Can't wait for the flurry of posts contravening my comments

Sydney Market at top - calling a severe correction in 2018-2019

Barring some catastrophe that sees interest rates skyrocketing, I cannot see a "severe correction" for Sydney. A small downturn maybe, or more likely prices flatlining for some time. Or if the good times roll, increased values at a more modest rate.

You won't see interest rates at 8% again for as long as I have a hole in my ****

Is there a gap filler we can lend to biz if this happens? Lol
